Hi Kees
Many thanks for the cool speach at BriForum.
I have today downloaded the tool and run it on a Windows 2008 R2 with VDA 7.6
From the 83 items only 18 are passed.
Some are failed even if the reg key is already set.
e.G. Taskoffload.
When I run the BP tool then the “DisableTaskOffload” is passed.
Do you know what the issue may be?
Kind regards
Marcel
Hi Marcel,
I ramped up a vanilla Windows 2008R2 server and ran the BPA, the tool says only 9 out of 85 checks are passed. The Disable Task Offload is failed as there’s no current value for that registry setting. In other words, I’m not able to reproduce that in my environment. The BPA checks the value of the registry key so even tho you set it on a value it can be the case that the BPA says you should set the key but just on a different value. Could you verify that?

Hi there,
The 0.7 xml doesn’t seem to work. It gives me a message stating it is corrupt.
Regards,
Martijn
Thanks Martijn, there was a bracket missing in one of the statements. This should be corrected now.
Hi guys,
First of all, great work. I cannot seem to find any documentation on the cli usage of the tool. I would like to run this as part of my sealing script. Could you provide some info?
Regards,
Owe
